Land Sailing at El Mirage
Land Sailing at El Mirage Dry lake bed was a blast. All of the Scouts got to go sailing. They also went biking and lots of other great stuff.
Big Bear - Serrano
The weekend of October 19, we went to Serrano Campground on the North shore of Big Bear Lake. The days were beautiful and warm with the nights a little chilly.
We went biking, hiking, and fishing.
If the fish weren't biting then the crayfish were.
A good time was had by all.
Hiking the Backbone Trail with views of Century City and Santa Monica Bay. We hiked about 7 miles with an elevation gain of 1000 feet.
Rifle shooting was great fun and we found we have several marksmen, especially Geoff.
